Contemporary Issues in U.S. National
Security
This coures explores the
current security issues confronting the United States and the range of
policy options. It starts with a look at the historical context
of American foreign and defense policy and then moves on to a range of
current issues such as terrorism, proliferation and the Revolution in
Military Affairs. The course features a group exercise in
which students play the roles of cabinet officials confronting a
national security crisis.
