CLA 6930: The Athenian Democracy
FALL 2008

How to Access e-Learning

1. You will need to be registered for either section 3739 or 9487 of CLA 6930: Athenian Democracy.

2. You will need to use a compatible browser and be sure to disable your browser's popup blockers.  I have found Firefox to be most compatible for Macintosh computers.  Safari has various glitches.  For PC users, check the e-Learning homepage for more information.

3. Log in to e-Learning, or from https://lss.at.ufl.edu, click on the "Continue" button in the left column immediately under "E-Learning System Entry."  You will need to enter your Gatorlink ID and password to log on.

4. Once logged on, click on the link to CLA 6930-Athenian Democracy (Wolpert), which will take you to the course's e-Learning page.

5. Once on the course's e-Learning page, you will see a column on the left with various tools, including "discussions."  Click on "discussions" to take you to the week's discussion.

An introduction and demos for students is available here. http://lss.at.ufl.edu/services/els/stu_intro.shtml.

If you are not able to login after following these instructions, contact the UF Computing HelpDesk at 352.392.HELP (4357), Mon.-Thurs. (7:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m.), Fri. (7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.), and Sun. (6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.).  You can also email the HelpDesk at helpdesk@ufl.edu, or come by the HelpDesk at the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) building, Room 520 between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
