How do I access E-Learning?

- Use Internet Explorer, Netscape or Mozilla browser (Safari works for Mac users).  Do not use AOL.  Make sure pop-up windows are enabled.

- Point your browser to http://lss.at.ufl.edu. Bookmark this page. This is where you will always access E-Learning.

- From http://lss.at.ufl.edu, choose the E-Learning System option (on the left side of the page) to access the course material. Use your Gatorlink ID and password to log on.

- The main tool you will be using is the Discussions tool, to participate in classroom discussions.  You should see a link directly on the course home page for the discussion board in question.

An introduction and demos for students is available at http://lss.at.ufl.edu/services/els/stu_intro.shtml.

If you are not able to login after following these instructions, contact the UF Computing HelpDesk at 352.392.HELP (4357), Mon.-Thurs. (7:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m.), Fri. (7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.), and Sun. (6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.).  You can also email the HelpDesk at helpdesk@ufl.edu, or come by the HelpDesk at the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) building, Room 520 between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Mon.-Fri.

Discussions

Be aware that when you are participating in a discussion in Vista, everyone in the course can see all posts and who made the post. Please be respectful with your words.

If you have any problems using E-Learning, please contact the UF Computing HelpDesk through one of the channels listed above.

Thanks to Dr Velvet Yates, Distance Learning Coordinator, for her assistance.
