OFFICE HOURS

 

I will be delighted to speak with you outside of class. Because (a) congestion, too many students want to see me at the same time making you stand in the hall for a long time, (b) inefficient use of time, like the Maytag man, I sit in my office and nobody wants to see me, (c) wrong place, I am needed to show a student how to do something in one of our three computer labs, or (b) I am meeting with faculty or students in their offices - -- therefore, instead of just “dropping in” please make an appointment with me. If a mutual time and location are not easily found, we can use technology; we can speak on the phone, or communicate via email.

 

  1. Email - Send me an email. I am available during most business hours, evenings, and weekends via email. Send me email at thrall@geog.ufl.edu   I will normally respond to you within two hours. Put UF Student in your subject
  2. Phone - Make an appointment with me via email, or phone 353-392-0494 x 205. You can leave a message if there is no answer. Email is better than phone.
  3. If you are a current student of mine, see me before or after class and we will either speak then or we can set up an appointment for a mutually convenient time.
