Grammar:
There are two basic types of questions: yes-no and wh- according to the type of answer they require.

Yes-no questions: Based on the following sentences, what is the rule for creating a yes-no question, i.e. one that can be answered with a "yes" or "no"? What is the intonation pattern?

• I am swimming with you.
  
• I can swim in this pool.
  
• I have seen you here before.
• He swims with me.
  
• He swam with me.
  

Wh- questions: These questions are asked when special information is unknown or unclear, such as the location, the participants, the object, the reason, the manner, or the time.  Based on the following sentences, what are the rules for creating wh- questions? What is the intonation pattern?

• Someone was at the pool with you.
• You left your clothes somewhere.
• You wear something when you swim.
  
• You liked one of the pools the best.
• You do your turns a certain way.
  
• We can change somewhere.
• You swim with ear plugs for a reason.
  
• The pool opens sometime.
