SUBJECT: miniactivity 6-internet as resource
TESL2ers Surf's up!!
Now that you know how to post things on a web page, it's time to get started gathering links to make your page useful to other teachers who have less time to go surfing than a Florida dude like you.
For this activity limit your surfing to these starting points on Tman's TESOL page:
1. the e-zine section
2. the teaching resources section
As you look, collect sites for useful things such as lesson plans teaching suggestions materials which might be useful for teacher-created lessons readings/research on your topic
Notice that many of the sites in the teaching resource section are not aimed towards TESL. Use your imagination as you surf these sites for "authentic material" which can be incorporated in an ESL/EFL classroom for the topic you are researching
I will know you have finished this activity when
1. You return this form with a ranking of the e-zines according to how
useful they are for your topic.
2. Your homepage has a section with links to online lesson plans
Happy Surfing
