Part One. Overview.

Surf through the web sites advertising jobs from around the world.

1. Some jobs require M.A's, some TESL certificates, some Ph.D.'s, some B.A.'s, some only require native English proficiency. How do the job descriptions differ according to the qualifications? Are certain countries or organizations more willing to hire people who have minimum training?

2. What kinds practical advice, including warnings, did you find for job hunters?

3. Let's say you don't want to teach English but want an overseas experience. What other kinds of honest/honorable jobs are listed?

Part Two. Country Focus.

1. Choose a country or part of the world where you would like an adventure teaching English. According to the internet, how would you get a job in that country with the qualifications you have? What precautions should you take? What kinds of jobs are available?

2. Find three possible employers. Give the job description and duties and match them with your qualifications. What benefits are offered? (Pay, transportation, housing, etc.)
