Have you ever wondered:
- What flying saucers have to do with ESP? (actually nothing but it got your attention)
- How to create English classes for special programs?
- How to use the Internet to enhance a class you are teaching?
- How to prepare materials for the Internet?
We will also learn how to give presentations at professional meetings.
Everyone is required to submit a proposal for a presentation at the Sunshine
State TESOL 25th Annual Convention at St. Pete in 17-19 May 2001. See the

- 60 points Class participation (i.e. attendance: 2 points per meeting)
- 40 points Sunshine State TESOL proposal (20 points for submission, 20 points for acceptance)
- 100 points Four Internet miniactivities (25 points each)
- 300 points English for Special Purposes course development including Internet materials (team project) All materials are due at show and tell April 24.
