RJB received a Doctor honoris causa from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia on October 10, 2012. This was awarded in recognition of his long-time collaboration with Comenius scientists. Together they have published 37 papers which to date have almost 3,500 citations. Pictures Speech
The 7th Quantum Molecular Mechanics congress will be held in Lugano, Switzerland in June 2013. The MQM 2013 will be to the honor of Professor Rodney (“Rod”) Bartlett for his seminal contributions towards the treatment of electron correlation.
RJB has been selected as the Lise Meitner Lecturer for 2013 for his pioneering coupled-cluster and many-body perturbation theories for electron correlation in atoms, molecules, and solids.
Dr. Thomas Watson, Jr. received his Ph.D. in August, 2012. He is now a post-doc with Dr. Garnet Chan at Princeton. Congratulations, Tom!
