Friday - November 21st:

I met a new Korean friend recently. Her name is Sue...she's smart, patient, and has such a wonderful personality. I don't have a picture of her, but that's ok!
Maybe one day, I'll share a picture of her...but not today!
So this semester is almost finished and the Korean class has been such a big help in learning more. I'm still having problems listening and speaking, but that will be ok with more practice. I still meet my friends to practice speaking at least twice a week, so eventually I'll start updating my website in Korean =^.^=

Tuesday - October 14th:

Today, I had a midterm in my Korean class. 오늘 아침에 한국어 수업은 midterm을 있어요. And, since my 누나 isn't online, I can't ask her to proof that...so I hope it's correct!

I think I did ok on the midterm. I'm sure I have a high A in the class at the moment anyway, so it doesn't matter if I made a few mistakes =P~

어쨌든, 나는 한국어 수업은 아주 재미있어요! 요즘은 한국어를 좋아요.

Monday - August 25th:

Today is the first day of the Fall 2008 semester. There are a bazillion students running around this campus, and I think very few of them actually took the time to get acquinted with the location of any of the buildings they'll be taking classes in.

Anyway, by request, here's a pic of my girlfriend (난 내 한국 여자 친구 사랑해요 ):
민재

I'm only showing this one (actually that's not entirely true, you can find more in my Seoul pics!) because I don't want her to "eat my head."  Yes, that's a Korean expression...I'm not sure how it really translates, but I think it basically means she'll either kick my ass or yell at me...neither of which I want to happen =^.^=

Wendesday - August 6th:

omg, now I'm learning two words a day...my little "Korean word of the day" thingy above, and MinJae is making me learn another word of the day.

And, since only my friends come here...here's how to spell MinJae's name in Hangul: 민재.

Monday - August 4th:

So, I've been playing this amusing game called Crazy Arcade with my girlfriend. It's hillariously funny. Of course, MinJae kicks my ass at it all the time >.<
You can play on teams too...which is great for me since MinJae usually wins it for us =^.^=
If you can read korean, then you can try the game too:

Crazy Arcade site!

Oh...pics of Minjae? Hrmm...I'll ask if she wants her pic here, but she's really shy so don't expect to see them lol.

Monday - July 21st:

Well, it looks like I've been slacking on my site again! So it goes.
Ok, so here's the link I keep forgetting to put up...pics of Korea: My Vacation pics omg!
Actually, this isn't all of the pics...just most of them. I've been too lazy over the last two months to get the remaining 5 days put up...

Friday - May 30th:

I didn't realize I had so many pictures! wow, it's taken two days just to get half of the pictures resized so they can fit in my WEB directory.
I should have at least the first half of the vacation available...some of Seoul and Busan...

Tuesday - May 20th:

Yup, I'm back in the U.S. now!!! That trip to Seoul was just incredible.
I ate so much food, I'm surprised I'm not 300lbs by now.
Probably the first thing I noticed was that the motorcylce/scooter, taxi, and bus drivers are all insane.
Then, I realized that the cell phone system in the U.S. just truly sucks...I can't believe how shitty the
cell phone system in the U.S. is. The phones here are so far out of date, it's pathetic.

Maybe the best part (other than actually being on vacation) was all the awesome food! Wow, unprocessed, fresh food...and cheap!!!

Wednesday - April 30th:

In Seoul tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I'll post pics when I'm back and not feeling too lazy...

I suppose I can make some personal updates here...just to make Stew happy...don't be a hater...

Thursday - April 24th:

Oooooo, so excited about my vacation to South Korea omg! One week from today! I'll be traveling to Seoul, Hanam, Andong, and Busan.
I'll be gone for nearly three weeks. I'm meeting a few people at Starbucks that I met online...I hope my Korean is up to the task!!!
So...no updates for a while (shut up Stew), but a lot of pics when I'm back!

Tuesday - March 18th:

Volunteered last night to answer phones with the public television station with the Masons...always interesting to do that. Dare I put pictures of me dressed up in a tie and jacket? I'll give it some thought...but don't hold your breath.

Wendesday - March 12th:

So...deleted all of her email, links, folders, everything...yes, it's finally time to move on. Am I happy about it? No. Why would I be?
On a funny note, a friend sent me this in email yesterday...

It's so perfect considering he never...ever, catches tweety! tweety rocks, yo.

Friday - February 22nd:

Tyler's going to be here March 29th for his Spring Break, yay! Can't wait to see the little munchkin =^.^=
And...the Seoul vacation is May 1st through May 18th!!!!! Yes, lots of 맥주 and 소주...at least I'm sure I'll be drinking with my Korean friends.
So, places I'm going to visit while I'm there:
남대문 - That's the South Gate in Seoul. Unfortunately, some 70 year old jerk burned it to the ground last week =( but I still want to see the foundation.
청계천 - This is a stream in Seoul that's gorgeous at night.
코엑스몰 - The COEX mall. It has a huge aquarium I want to visit.

We'll see how it goes. I've been studying Korean a bit for the last year, and personally think I could spend another six or seven years just to get to a comfortable level of comprehension. Although, I did apply for five jobs in Seoul...that would be an interesting experience =P~

Thursday - February 7th:

This is my best chic friend, Marty...she came to visit me with her fiance this past weekend...she's such a trip.  I'm glad she was here...a lot on my mind lately 'cause tomorrow is the one year "good bye" thingy...

Wednesday - January 23rd:

So I found two cute pics today while browsing the web...trying to keep my brain occupied lol...been thinking too much lately I think.

Monday - January 7th:

Life is too short
grudges are a waste of perfect happiness
Laugh when you can
apologize when you should
and let go of what you can't change.
Love deeply and forgive quickly
take chances...give everything
and have NO regrets
Life is too short to be unhappy
you have to take the good with the bad
Smile when you're sad
love what you got
and always remember what you had
Always forgive but never forget
learn from your mistakes
but never regret
People change, and things go wrong
but always remember
life goes on!

Friday - December 20th:

My brothers new puppy!!!

Waaaaayyyy too cute...I hope it pees all over his floor...aren't I so mean?

Monday - December 10th:

Seoul

You know you love my new clock showing the time in Korea! It's pretty neat lol. Figured I'd keep track of the time since I'll be visiting there in June:)
tata

Tuesday - November 6th:

So lucky me! Yet another drive died in one of the RAID arrays I manage. And wouldn't you know it? The warranty expired two weeks ago >.<
Looks like I get to do a maintenance window tomorrow evening to replace two drives, I guess I should be lucky no data was lost!

Wednesday - October 31st:

Happy Halloween!!!!
I'm meeting my Korean friends again this evening...learning Korean is coming along slowly, but surely. Makes me feel like I'm quite clumsy in the mouth =P~
Should be finished with the Security+ cert in a few weeks...yet another cert lol...how many can I get in a year? Guess we'll find out soon enough!

Thursday - September 20th:

Dragoncon 07 pics!

My leechy vampire friend, Chrstina:

Monday - September 10th:

Birthday was yesterday...yay me?  Not sure, I think I had an expectation that never happened...so it was disappointing in that regard, but it was a good day because Tyler scored two goals playing soccer and still is the best player on the team:)

I have quite a few pics from DragonCon '07, so I'll put a little site together and post here...when I get around to it of course =P~

Thursday - June 21st:

Ohhh, found a gif:

It's Lee Hyori, a Korean pop singer that I found about a month or so ago. She sings in Korean, so I only understand a little of the lyrics...I still enjoy the songs.

Friday - June 1st:

minicloud.com

I like her site...and her art on DA.

Saturday - April 26th:

Beam me up Scottie!

Tuesday - April 10th:

Gah, I hate being sad...wtf.  Sad people are depressing, and it all started with a stupid fucking dream the other night...

Four months since I typed here...sheesh...oh well, back to work I go...

Wendesday - December 20th:

This is just too funny.

For My Democrat Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee. By accepting these greetings, you are accepting the aforementioned terms as stated. This greeting is not subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself/himself/others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wish

For My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Monday - December 4th:

If you can't get it right the first time, don't start skydiving.

Wednesday - November 15th:

zomg...

Tuesday - November 14th:

I just finished my first Microsoft class.  Managing and Maintaining a server 2003 environment...mostly AD/GPO stuff.  We didn't have time to cover all of the material adequately because the other students were taking 20 to 30 minutes to complete a lab that should have taken 5 minutes!  At least I learned quite a bit, it was...interesting.  I plan on taking the cert for this in about a month, so I'll see how it compares to the cisco cert test.

Thursday - August 17th:

I made another page of thumbs of a the Disney and canoeing trip with Tyler:

Disney/Canoeing

Monday - August 7th:

I made two tables of trips with Tyler.  One trip to Sea World and one trip boating in Jacksonville:

Boating

Seaworld

Monday - Junly 24th:

Weeeee....see how long it's been since I've updated?  Yay for laziness at work!

Friday - May 5th:

Guess what I'm studying? *puke*  Stop bitching at me 'cause I don't update my site peoples...you're no fun.  Next email I get is going to get all the links to the Novell stuff I read...that'll teach you =P~

Tuesday - April 18th:

I've been slacking on the Novell studying lately, mostly because the training/budget crapola isn't working out like I was promised.  I should have already finished two classes, but things keep getting put off...gah, that's frustrating as hell.

Anyway, I had to learn about the arcGIS license manager yesterday.  It seems my UPS upgrade sunday made the hardware lock not work with the VMware console lol...atleast it was an easy fix, if not exactly trivial to find out what the problem was in the first place.

Monday - April 3rd:

Tyler's spring break visit had to be canceled because he has chicken pox...poor little thing =(

Oh, and yes, I'm still reading Novell...yay me *puke*
