Class meetings are only held on Mondays.
This is the schedule you should be keeping on a weekly basis.
All exams are taken online unless you request paper exams.
More information is given in your electronic textbook.

Important Notice: It is important for you to get started on your readings. Install your software and register it at the link given above. Before starting the program go online. To start the program click on the dinosaur icon on your desk top. The opening screen has a bar labeled "View Reference Material", click on the bar. The "Library" of the Activity window is now open. Click on the menu tab on the left of the screen to open the "Library". You will see four "Sections", each corresponds to topics grouped by exam. For example, all the topics for exam 1 are in "Section One". Open "Section One" and you will see all seven topics to be covered prior to exam one. The first week of class you should read "Geologic Time and Principles" (Topic One) and "Weathering and Erosion" (Topic Two). Click on each of these chapters to open them. Chapters have web links and picture links with audio. Pictures open up in the "Presentation" window and audio can be played by pressing the audio button at the top of the "Presentation" screen. Video links also are identified in the text. Dr Ciesielski will demonstrate other aspects of the software to you in class.

Explore your online grades site linked to above. This new secure online site provides you with all your grades for practice exams and other course exams. Login with your email address and your password. You will find the same "News and Events" announcements that I post to your ebook software in the opening window. An important component is "Session Material", designed to help you understand the material and prepare for tests. This section gives topic outlines, objectives, terms and concepts to know, concept questions, and a link to print practice questions for each topic.
