I am currently a sociology graduate student at the University of Florida. I earned B.A. degrees in sociology and criminal justice in 2006 at Bloomsburg University. At this time, I am working on a number of different research projects: I am studying the psycho-social effects of spiritual transformations for adults in the United States; I am analyzing the impact that religious beliefs have on social trust in the United States; And in the Summer of 2008, I will begin working with Dr. Monika Ardelt on a project concerning cross-cultural assessments of wisdom. I am also teaching discussion sections of Principles of Sociology this Summer.
