Analytical Essay Schedule
The analytic essay is a 3-4 page essay that addresses a key theme or
issue in the text under consideration. It is absolutely critical
that your essay is tightly focused around a central issue. Feel
free to check with me as you develop your topic. Unlike the short
reaction papers, these essays will be due on the Tuesday after the
Thursday discussion session. If you are writing one of these
essays, you do not need to write a shorter reaction paper.
Students will be given the opportunity to rewrite these papers.
