Analytical Essay Schedule

The analytic essay is a 3-4 page essay that addresses a key theme or issue in the text under consideration.  It is absolutely critical that your essay is tightly focused around a central issue.  Feel free to check with me as you develop your topic.  Unlike the short reaction papers, these essays will be due on the Tuesday after the Thursday discussion session.  If you are writing one of these essays, you do not need to write a shorter reaction paper.  Students will be given the opportunity to rewrite these papers.
