My website is sadly out of date. It is so out of date that I decided that putting this place holder up in lieu of my old, decrepit site would be a much better idea, even if it means you may be sadly disappointed in the interim. Here are a couple things I have been up to, will be up to, or hope to be up to very soon.

Over the summer I am wrapping up work on my first publication, From Taskscape to Genderscape: Performing the Gender of Place. I will present the paper at the Chacmool Conference in Calgary in November and hopefully have the pub in press shortly thereafter. Check out The 2008 Chacmool conference website.

I am also working on a paper on academic reasearch, public outreach, and the use of technology as an integrating medium for bringing scholoarly research to the general public and vice versa. I don't have a working title yet, but will post it here as soon as it is ready. I will present this paper at the Society for American Archaeology conference in Atlanta early next year. Check out the SAA website here.

What else?

I hope in the very near future to post an updated site complete with news on the progress and scope of my research, publications for your reading pleasure, and other sundry stuff. Until then, then, you might entertain yourself with this stuff:
