In
Akan culture, the seven-day week is very important (Kwasiada is Sunday, Memeneda is Saturday, etc.). Each person's name
includes an element that is a reminder of the day of the week when he
or she was born. This "day name" may be the first name or the middle
name. If parents have two sons born on Fridays in different years,
both those boys will be named Kofi.It usually takes some research for
