About Us |
Akan, or Asante Twi, is currently offered at the University of Florida, Gainesville. The classes available currently cover four semesters (one year of Beginning Akan and one year of Intermediate Akan). The first semester covers greetings and the use of Akan in everyday conversation. The second semester covers more material on everyday Ghanaian life. More in-depth details about culture are learned in the second year Akan class. |
