In
addition to publishing books on abortion and prostitution in the ancient
world, Dr. Kostas Kapparis' research interest in sex and gender in Classical
Antiquity includes the legal aspects of adultery and women's rights in
Ancient Greece. He also works on modern Greek poets whose compositions
feature sex and gender issues. |

Dr.
Jennifer Rea's interest in sex and gender in Classical Antiquity comes
from her research on women's roles in the Golden Age of Augustan Rome and
her interest in Scandinavian (re)presentations of Greece and Rome, which
often include allusions to gender issues that affected both modern and
ancient cultures. |
