Oceans and Global Climate Change

Written assignment

Due: Wed. April 15^th

Describe the role of the oceans in driving and recording global climate change.

This is a big topic (could be an entire course!!). I would like you to synthesize your ideas into a concise, well-written 1 page, 1.5 spaced paper, minimum of 11 point font. Please follow these guidelines- I will not read a single spaced paper or a 2 page long paper (a few lines over is fine)!

As with previous assignments you will be graded on the scientific content and the quality of the written presentation. Think of this as an extended exam essay question- I will be looking to make sure that you cover the major points we discussed this semester.

As before, the papers will be graded on a scale of 1-10.

All of the information you need is available in your notes, therefore no references are required. However, if you do get information elsewhere (i.e. the web) please cite your sources.
