Principles of Sociology

The primary goal of this course is to provide and introductory overview of sociology.  Students will critically examine issues from historical, political, cultural and global perspectives to investigate the ways gender, race, class, sexuality, and social institutions impact human behavior.  Exploration will take place through readings, discussions, activities, and written assignments.
