Christopher John Garland

I am a graduate student at the University of Florida, studying English literature. I was born in New Zealand but have lived between NZ and the US over the last three years. My specific interests are post-colonial literature (particularly the writing of J.M Coetzee), public intellectualism, journalism (particularly foreign correspondence), and pedagogy. My current project is a series of articles on Haiti-- I will be spending my Christmas holidays in Port au Prince.
