Beginning Latin 3

Course Objectives:

This is the final course of a three part beginning series at the University of Florida.  Students will concurrently (1) review Latin 1 & 2, (2) master the vocabulary, morphology, and syntax in chapters 28-40 of Wheelock's Latin, and (3) practice in the fluid translation of Latin to English and English to Latin. Students will also read selections of prose and poetry in the original Latin.  Students will leave this class prepared to succeed in 2000-level translation classes.
