between language, culture and society, and I am especially interested by the
sociolinguistic study of French. I am interested in all varieties of French,
more particularly Québec French, and other varieties spoken in As a sociolinguist, my research
interests encompass language variation and change, as well as language
contact and bilingualism. For example, one of my current research projects

do research about the variety of French spoken by young Anglophones living in
Montréal, a second language which has nowadays become an integral part of
their linguistic repertoire. I am also currently exploring the language practices
and language attitudes of the Francophone community of Canadians living in
Florida. |
