Working Bibliography
The working bibliography (and the bibliography of the final paper as submitted)
should contain at least 10 entries, at least half of which are from scholarly
sources (academic journals and scholarly books). A good place to start
looking for relevant articles in academic journals is in online social science
indexes, such as Public Affairs Information Service, International Political
Science Abstracts, and the Social Sciences Citation Index. Research
strategies will be discussed in more detail in class. Look at the information
provided by the institution that you are researching (IO websites often supply
considerable amounts of information), but do not rely on this information too
heavily; see the statement on research sources.
