Welcome,
I am a graduate student in the Department of Geography at the University of Florida. My graduate studies have involved participation in an NSF Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship focused on adaptive management, water, watersheds and wetlands. I also have been involved in a larger, collaborative research initiative that involves multiple institutions from both the United States and southern Africa and investigates ecological, land use, governance, and livelihood interactions for different socio-ecological systems in southern Africa. I am interested in coupled human-environment interaction at multiple geographic scales. My dissertation research focuses on vegetation-precipitation dynamics for a dryland area in southern Africa, although I have also worked in SE Asia and Central America.
