Florida Alternative Breaks
Florida Alternative Breaks or FAB, is a University of Florida student-led organization that sends out service-learning trips based on specific social issues during academic breaks. We believe education, strong direct service, and reflection are among several key components that set the FAB experience apart in terms of growth and impact, both for our participants and the communities we serve.
Research Travel
Undergraduate
Funding requests normally begin in the academic department for support and/or referral to additional sources. Some students have the opportunity to present a poster at a professional society meeting. Talk to your research mentor to see if this is a possibility for you. If so, you may apply for a travel award of $500.00 to support this travel. To apply for this support, click here.
