- Eligibility:
Awarded annually (Fall term) to an undergraduate major in communication
sciences and disorders; based on academic merit with some consideration
of financial need. Must be nominated by the faculty in the Department
of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Award:
$1,000.
Graduate
Thomas B. Abbott Scholar
- Contact:
Department Scholarship Committee, 335 Dauer Hall
- Eligibility:
Graduate student(s) in Communication Sciences and Disorders based on
academic merit. Must be nominated by the faculty in the Department of
Communication Sciences and Disorders. Candidates must have excellent
clinical work experience, be active participants in campus activities,
and have a strong commitment to the profession.
- Award:
Up to two $1,000 awarded annually in the fall.
Lew Sarette Scholar
- Contact:
Department Scholarship Committee, 335 Dauer Hall
- Eligibility:
Incoming graduate students who have at least a 3.0 GPA, 1,000 GRE, and
three letters of recommendation.
- Award:
$2,000.
