Junior and senior botany majors. Successful candidates will have
a GPA of at least 3.5 in science subjects and letters of recommendation
from faculty. Selection is made by a faculty committee.

Lewis and Varnia Vaughn Fellowship in Orchid Biology

- Eligibility:
Graduate students in the Department of Botany with at least one year's
standing. GPA of 3.5 in science courses at upper division and graduate
level. A minimum GPA of 3.0 in courses other than science, a high
GRE score (in all three areas), and letters of recommendation are
also required. Selection is made by a faculty committee.
- Award:
$5,000 per semester. No formal closing date.
