A Great Day for McKnights

Five CLAS Students Receive McKnight Doctoral Fellowships to Pursue Careers in Academia

The Florida Education Fund has awarded the following students McKnight Doctoral Fellowships. The McKnight Doctoral Fellowship program is designed to address the under-representation of African American and Hispanic faculty at colleges and universities in Florida by increasing the pool of citizens qualified with Ph.D. degrees to teach at the college and university level. Funding includes a stipend of $12,000, tuition and fees for a maximum of five years.
