Professor David Pharies, chair of Romance Languages and Literatures, waits for the opening of the MEMS library

Dr. Mary Watt, Co-Director of MEMS and organizer of the Carnevale, Karneval! conference, welcomes guests and members to the new library.

Dr. Yumiko Hulvey, Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, officially opens the MEMS library.

Dr. Shifra Armon discusses a donation of  books on the Spanish Golden Age to the MEMS library.

Dr. Charles Perrone presents a book on medieval music to the MEMS library.

Among the honored guests: Mrs. Kleinhenz, Professor Christopher Kleinhenz of  the University of Wisconsin, 
and Professor Keith Bullivant, chair of Germanic and Slavic Studies at UF.

Graduate student Dean Swinford, MEMS co-director Dr. Will Hasty, Mrs. Kleinhenz, Dr. Judy Shoaf, and Professor Christopher Kleinhenz enjoy the party.

Good food, drink, and conversation were abundant.
