Women's Studies
About the Major
A Women's Studies degree allows students an opportunity to explore the way gender works in the lives of people—men as well as women—in the United States and globally. Administered by the Center for Women's Studies and Gender Research, students in this major take a wide range of interdisciplinary courses, preparing them for graduate and professional schools or for careers in education, communications and media, human relations, law, politics, and social services.
