About the Major
Biology majors develop a fundamental knowledge of animals, plants and microorganisms. This major takes a broader approach to biology than the more specialized majors of Botany and Zoology.
Preprofessional students, students seeking careers in education, and those with interdisciplinary interests in ecology, physiology and biochemistry, systematics, or molecular biology will be interested in this major.
