Program Fee

The 2006 Summer Program fee is approximately $4,500 (pending final arrangements).

Fee includes: Tuition, lodging and daily meals with a host family, class excursions, orientation, cost of instruction and MEDEX emergency assistance insurance. Fee does not include airfare (~ $650-890), additional personal travel and personal expenses.

Fees due upon application: A $250 deposit towards the total cost of the program is required at the time of application, of which $50 is non-refundable. The remaining fees are due no later than 30 days prior to departure. Students receiving financial aid may defer payment for up to 60 days after departure.

Financial Aid

University of Florida students needing financial aid should apply for financial aid through UF Student Financial Affairs (SFA). SFA provies an advisor for study abroad students. Scholarships

The deadline for application for summer scholarships administered by the UF International Center is February 1, 2006. Application forms are available from their website and at the International Center in 123 Grinter Hall.

Partial scholarships for UF students are available on a competitive basis through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Honors Program, as well as the International Center.
