The Ipatse Cluster:

One major residential center (FX06), one secondary ritual-residential center (FX13), three secondary residential centers (FX17, 18, and 22) and, in each case, one or more small (third-order) plaza villages (FX14, 19, 20, 41, 42). The cluster occupies the area of the lower A?ahuku River, Ipatse Stream, and a good stretch of the large Culuene River. Most of the sites is situated adjacent to a large lake or pool of the A?ahuku River. It dominates an area of about 300-400 km²
