SEALL Business Meeting

Present:
 Marc Mallet (The Lovett School - President and Webmaster), Gamin Bartle (The University of Alabama - Newsletter editor), Karl Fisher (University of the South) , Judith Shoaf (University of Florida), Georgia Schlau (College of Charleston - Secretary-Treasurer, Membership coordinator) , Rachida Primov (The University of Miami), Dominique Bennett (The Lovett School)

After six years as president of SEALL,  Marc Mallet has passed the position over to Georgia Schlau who agreed to assume the responsibilities of the office for the year 2002-2003. Gamin Bartle will continue as newsletter editor and will assume membership coordinator  from Georgia Schlau.  Judith Shoaf agreed to act as Webmaster, taking over from Marc Mallet.  Rachida Primov as the host of the SEALL 2003 Conference at the University of Miami, will investigate the possibility of opening an account for SEALL at the University and become  Treasurer.  

The idea of holding joint conferences with other regional organizations has been put on hold until after the 2003 Conference in Miami.
