All present felt that one business meeting a year and one conference a year was enough.
The next conference will be hosted by the College of Charleston thanks to Georgia Schlau who took the initiative and received approval from the Dean of Humanities. Dates are still to be confirmed for March 6 and 7. Plans are to have 2 presentations Friday afternoon, followed by a welcoming cocktail with keynote speaker, a breakfast business meeting on Saturday morning followed by one presentation before lunch and 2 presentations after lunch. A call for presentations will be put on the LLTI.
A discussion of the usefulness of the group concluded the meeting.
Georgia Schlau suggested a review of what people have used. Nancy Fletcher suggested setting up penpals among students of members. An exchange of ideas such as a poster session was also suggested as well as the creation of a video showing the functionning of our labs
