Research Description
Development and Experimental Study of an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) System

My project will develop an experimental study of an optical coherence tomography (OCT) system. We will use the small coherence length of a broadband light source to achieve high imaging resolution. We will use near infrared light for large imaging depth and use MEMS technology for miniaturization and high imaging speed. This system would be used for early cancer detection and real-time cancer surgery monitoring.
