The Intersection of Business, Our Society, and the Global Economy

JUR would like to warmly thank Professor Craig Tapley for serving as the Guest Editor of its July/August issue, which focuses on the work of students interested in business and economic issues. Among his many other accomplishments, Professor Tapley spent nine years as assistant dean and director of Undergraduate Programs for theWarrington College of Business and three years as the director of the Florida MBA Programs. He currently teaches corporate finance and long-run financial strategy in the graduate and undergraduate curriculums, and the Financial Statement Analysis as part of the Graham-Buffett Security Analysis concentration.

At Professor Tapley’s direction, JUR has gathered the work of students from various disciplines, all of whom speak, in one voice or another, to the intersection of business, our society, and the global economy.
