Research Description:

Philanthropy Program Evaluation

My project is intended to delve into the depths of program evaluation as it pertains to research. It will analyze the top students in the country who are planning on working in the public service field and how receptive they are to the teaching methods that a particular program provides them. This program, the Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service, sponsored by the Fund for American Studies, will be my primary source for data collection and measurement. I will live and work with the students and evaluate them and the program on several levels, which will then culminate into an in-depth report on what educational methods work on this target audience and what needs to be improved.
