Creed Greer has been the editor of the Journal of Undergraduate Research since August 2004. He works closely with scholars and their mentors, as well as the JUR editorial board, to ensure the journal publishes the highest quality research papers possible. As Associate Program Director for the Dial Center for Written and Oral Communication, Dr. Greer has developed and taught academic and professional writing courses in Law, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, and Engineering. He also is the creator and director of UF’s Online Writing Lab.
Buffy Lockette has served as the features editor of the Journal of Undergraduate Research since June 2002 and is responsible for writing the JUR feature story and profiles appearing in each issue. During the summer months, Ms. Lockette takes photos of incoming students in the University Scholars Program and collects their online profile and project description forms, which she uses to create profiles published in each issue of the journal. All students featured and profiled in the journal are in the University Scholars Program. Ms. Lockette is an editor and writer for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ News and Publications Office.
Jeffrey Stevens became webmaster of the Journal of Undergraduate Research in September 2004 and provides all web support for the strictly online publication. He places the new issue of the journal online each month and updates pages within the JUR as needed. He is responsible for the JUR’s most recent redesign. All questions regarding the design of the JUR should be directed to him. In addition to serving as JUR webmaster, Mr. Stevens is the official webmaster for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He provides web support to the CLAS dean’s office, and lends his expertise to the colleges’ numerous departments and centers.
