"I applied to the USP because I knew it would allow me to experience what research is like before the graduate level. Since I plan to go to law school, it is unlikely that I will ever have such an opportunity again to do this kind of research.”
Brett is a senior majoring in both philosophy and political science. His academic interests include philosophy ethics, bioethics, political philosophy and political theory. He is a National Merit Scholar and a member of Golden Key International and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. Brett also is vice president of Gator Greens—UF’s Green Party club—and a member of the Philosophical Society. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering at Planned Parenthood.
