Graduating Checklist
- Graduate checklist may be obtained from the Academic Advising Center,
if you have not already done so. Note that information regarding MAJOR is probably not accurate.
- If you have made changes in the CORE of
your major (section 10 on the application) please file a core revision
form in 2014 Turlington as soon as possible. This office will not be
able to certify the major as completed without this form.
- Use the
thesis abstract form found at the IDS website under information for graduating
students for your thesis. This form MUST be typed and signed by your
advisor. A bound copy of your thesis and signed abstract must be submitted
to the IDS program in 2014 Turlington by the submission date posted each
semester on the Academic Advising homepage.
- If you are not graduating
with honors, your thesis and abstract may be turned in as late as the
week of graduation.
- If you are graduating with honors (please check
the Academic Advising website for the submission date for honors theses)
turn in a copy of your signed thesis abstract form to Linda O’Donnell
in the Academic Advising Center, office #105 by the date posted. You
must submit your finalized thesis and abstract electronically to the
Honors Office. Please consult the Honors website for submission procedures.
- If your thesis
is of exceptionally high quality please draw your adviser's attention
to the Undergraduate Research Competition. (Additional information can
be found on the Honors website at www.scholars.ufl.edu).
