Internship Information (IDS 4940)
An internship presents an excellent opportunity for both personal and professional growth. When looking at internships, you should consider the following:
- Does this internship align with my future career aspirations?
- What personal traits will help me succeed in this position?
- What skills/qualities can I gain from this opportunity?
- Will this experience challenge me in any way?
- What do I ultimately hope to learn from this experience?
If interested in pursuing internship credit through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, please review the information below and submit an application to Joe Wolff in 2014 Turlington Hall. Please keep in mind that this course may be taken for 1-3 credits depending on the amount of hours you will be working throughout the duration of the internship. Grading is on an S/U basis. Note that a course taken S/U will NOT apply to MAJOR requirements, but may apply to your elective requirements.
If you have any further questions about internships, please email Joe Wolff at jwolff@ufl.edu or call 352-392-0780.
