Changing, Reposting or Cancelling Existing Requisitions
The following changes/updates must also be made by submitting a Change Request Form:
- Any changes in rank/title, application recruiting deadline, etc., must be reposted in the UF HR system for at least 7 days. All of these changes (with the exception of salary range) must be reflected in outside advertisements as well. All change requests must be on the Change Request Form. The original must be forwarded to the CLAS HR Office. No advertisements should be placed prior to Dean's Office approval;
- To post a specified application recruiting deadline for a position previously listed with a rolling deadline or open until filled;
- To update the "anticipated starting date" for a position not filled within a one month period after the anticipated starting date (#8 on form); and
- To cancel a position.
Please keep in mind the length of time it takes to place outside ads - usually 2 months or longer. It is very important to plan ahead.
Positions should be reviewed by the department to insure that they are posted in GatorJobs.
