- Equal Opportunity Officer for CLAS
- Approves outside ads for faculty searches and letters of offer to faculty
- Approves staff searches
- Coordinates college’s tenure and promotion process and the Salary Pay Plan for Professors (SPPP)
- Advises on and processes requests for leaves of absence, reduced FTE, sabbaticals and events covered by the Family Medical Leave Act
- Makes staff salary recommendations to Dean
- Assists managers with staff disciplinary actions and investigates staff grievances and/or sexual harassment complaints

- TEAMS, OPS, Graduate and Student Assistant appointments
- Processes payroll and payroll distributions
- Processes security roles
- Manages CLAS staff performance appraisal process
