Teaching /Advising, Doctoral Dissertation Advising / Mentoring Awards
Congratulations to the CLAS faculty recognized by the annual Teaching /Advising and Doctoral Dissertation Advising Awards.
University Scholars Program
The University Scholars Program is run through the University Honors Program and provides a $2,000 stipend for undergraduates to carry out research and scholarship with a mentor and up to $500 in travel funds to present their research at a conference.
- There will be 50 awards for CLAS undergraduates.
- Your department deadline (for receipt of student applications) is February 22.
- You may nominate up to 4 students per department. Please rank the nominations before submitting them to the College. The letter of transmission and the ranking can be brief.
- The College deadline for all department nominations is March 1.
- Please send your nominations to Ms. Arlene Williams, 2014 Turlington Hall, 392-2230.
- The nominations reviewed by CLAS Dean’s Office.

Sustainable Solutions Awards Program
The UF Office of Sustainability is proud to announce the Sustainable Solutions Awards Program. These awards, presented this April at UF's Earth Day Celebration, will recognize those individuals, departments and organizations that have made significant contributions toward advancing sustainability at UF.
Individuals or departments can be nominated to receive awards in the
areas of water, waste, and energy conservation/reduction. Submissions
can also be made for the "Bright Idea" award, which will be given for
the best new idea for advancing sustainability on UF’s campus. The
most active Green Team and the most active student group awards are
also up for grabs.
