1999 CLAS Dissertation Fellows
This article was originally published in the March 1999 issue of CLASnotes

Every year, CLAS invites students pursuing PhDs to apply for dissertation fellowships for the spring and summer terms. This year's winners, who will receive tuition waivers and $3,150 stipends for one term, were honored at a reception at the Keene Faculty Center on February 27. Student awardees (pictured right) presented the audience with short summaries of their research. In addition, CLAS Term Professors were recognized, and many of the donors whose support made these endowed awards possible were introduced and honored.
