Peter Jungjun Park

Congratulations to Peter Jungjun Park, a doctoral candidate in Communication Sciences and Disorders, for receiving one of 47 Student Research Travel Awards from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association to attend its annual convention in Boston in November.
Park will be presenting his first authored paper, “Phonological Processing, Spoken Language Skills, and Reading in Hearing-Impaired Children," under the mentorship of Professor Linda Lombardino.
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is the professional, scientific and credentialing association for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the United States and internationally. Its mission is to promote the interests of and provide the highest quality services for professionals in audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech and hearing science, and to advocate for people with communication disabilities.
The association's Student Research Travel Awards Program was created to highlight the research activities of budding scientists and encourage careers in science and research.
