Brief Biography
Chemistry Professor David E. Richardson is the Senior Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida. Dr. Richardson received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Stanford University in 1981. The former chair of the UF Department of Chemistry (2000-2006), he is a physical, inorganic and bioinorganic chemist whose work focuses on the study of kinetics. His current research interests include chemical and biological warfare agent decontamination and transition metal catalysis.
