David E. Richardson Biography
CLAS Associate Dean for Research
Chemistry Professor David E. Richardson is the Interim Associate Dean for Research in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida. Dr. Richardson received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Stanford University in 1981. The former chair of the UF Department of Chemistry, he is a physical, inorganic and bioinorganic chemist whose work focuses on the study of kinetics. His current research interests include chemical warfare agent decontamination and transition metal catalysis.
