Brief Biography
Ryan comes to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Florida Office of Development and Alumni Affairs where he served as Assistant Vice President, supervising the fundraising efforts of the College of Engineering, the Levin College of Law, the College of Fine Arts, the Harn Museum of Art and UF Performing Arts during the Florida Tomorrow Campaign.
He brings with him more than 15 years of progressive fundraising experience at major Tier 1 universities and the non-profit sector, including the University of California, Irvine, the University of Utah and Utah State University. He started his fundraising career 18 years ago at a not-for-profit organization in Miami. He has also spent time as a fundraising consultant. He has a passion for matching a donor's wish to make a significant impact with a myriad of exciting funding opportunities that are found in academic and research settings as truly comprehensive as the University of Florida.
