Department Mission Statement
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida is dedicated to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, clinical training and basic and applied research in speech language pathology and audiology. Our goal is to provide a mutually respectful environment to advance scholarship and the pursuit of knowledge, and to foster intellectual curiosity and integrity in all aspects of research and clinical education. Our focus is on educating future professionals in the areas of speech language pathology and audiology while building their leadership skills and setting a high standard of performance. The faculty and staff are dedicated to the promotion of our program and the dissemination of scholarly information locally, nationally and internationally.
